We are growing and would love additional community members to join us in our efforts. Our organization is made up of individuals from a number of faith-based organizations in Contra Costa County. We are looking for volunteers in a variety of capacities from participating in a Task Force to helping with a particular event.

| Racial Justice Task Force | Racial injustices impact all barriers to self-sufficiency, so we established a working group that involves all of the Task Forces. | Supporting legislation and policy actions that reflect the many faith teachings that command we shall not make unjust laws, deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed. |
| Food Security Task Force | Confronting Hunger in CCC. We are primarily engaged in helping with CalFresh enrollments. | Exposure to Food Bank, Loaves and Fishes, Winter Nights. Knowledge of Cal Fresh & Nutrition. |
| Health Task Force | Support & expand access to quality health care. | Healthcare, medical delivery systems, healthcare policy & services. |
| Housing and Shelter Task Force | Focused on ending homelessness, homelessness prevention & affordable housing. Looking to help get more people off the streets, into shelters, & eventually into affordable housing. | Passionate about ending homelessness. Landlords with law enforcement or hospital admin experience, attorneys & general contractors. |
| Communications Team | Help the Coalition with communications, including database, writing & web site and social media updates | Those involved in graphic or web design, marketing, communications, writing, and/or editing. |
