SIGNED: SB 54 - The California Values Act!!! It forbids state and local law enforcement agencies from providing information to or acting as the deputies for federal immigration authorities. The bill also prohibits police and sheriff officers from inquiring about a person's immigration status.
SIGNED: SB 2 & 3 - Two funding bills-- SB 2, a document filing fee on real estate transactions which will raise $250 million a year for affordable housing and SB 3, a $4 billion housing bond that will go to voters in 2018.
