Save the Date -- August 29; 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Christ the King Church, Pleasant Hill
As an advocate and friend of the Multi-faith ACTION Coalition, you have been part of many actions over the last year to bring light to the injustices that keep people in our community in poverty and to change policies here in California to ease their burdens. Thank you. It has been hard to face the challenges every day. The news is filled with stories that don't reflect our values and faith teachings. The amount of work that needs to be done feels overwhelming. We’re not giving up, are you? We're here for you.
Please join us for an evening of reflection and learning at the Annual August ACTION. It is an opportunity to share gratitude and find inspiration from our faith leaders and each other. We want to strengthen the mission we set out to do four years ago -- Bringing people of faith together to address the root causes of poverty through advocacy and policy change as the Multi-faith ACTION Coalition.
Invite your friends to attend with you on Wednesday, August 29 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 199 Brandon St., Pleasant Hill. The cross street is Gregory Lane.
Dinner will be provided, so please RSVP to contactmfac@gmail.com It’s a great time to get involved and act to right injustice in our communities.
