Education Task Force Meeting (Oct 2014)

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
To all members and prospects of the Education Task Force,

We have scheduled a reorganizing meeting of the Education Task Force to take place on Monday evening, October 27th at 7:00 pm at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette. We are hoping that everyone with an interest in this area will be able to attend this meeting. In addition to those individuals that have already offered to participate, we would like to get more people involved in this very important area. Therefore, we are asking each of you to help recruit additional individuals to come. Think of the people you know who have been involved in education as teachers, administrators, tutors, parents or students. We are hoping to get a diversity of experiences, background and perspectives to get a committee that can seriously explore the issues involved in the many intersections of poverty and education.

Please help us to recruit people to come to this meeting. You can tell any potential recruits that attendance at this meeting does not commit you to further participation but does give you a chance to see who else in concerned about this subject and hear some of the ideas to be considered. Feel free to distribute this to other members of your community.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to give me a call. Please R.S.V.P. so we know how many people to expect.

Thank you,
Roger Lamm
